With TIFF coming to a close it is time for a contest. I have been so busy this year attending events, checking out gifting lounges and working at the Tastemakers lounge. It has been such a great experience and I have connected with some great people. But now it is your time to be swaged like the stars you see in the pictures. This year the celebrities will be treated just like royalty in the Tastemakers Lounge. Founded by Debra Goldblatt and Lessa Butler, Tastemakers lounge is in their 7th year they where the first full-service swag lounge in Canada. I got a Media Invite from Rock-it-Promotions to come check out the lounge and enjoy some great stuff. Every year the lounge always gives  back. This year they have picked the CNIB, a registered charity with 55 community offices nationwide. CNIB works to empower Canadians who are blind or partially sighted with the confidence, skills and opportunities to fully participate in life. So the lounge will make a donation to this great organization after TIFF.

So it just seems right with the CNIB being the focus charity this year they have Wescan Optical.Wescan has been around since 1998, now available in over 40 countries. Some of there brands are KILR, FYSH, and EVATIK. Make sure to check them out because their glasses are so stylish for men and women. I got a great pair from the EVATIK line and I just love them.

 

Pandora this international fine jeweler has brought along it newest collection of bracelets.  That can be decorated with a selection of beautifully hand finished charms that come in 14-karat gold and sterling silver, all with precious gemstone accents. Nathaniel Cole by Crowncap has brought along its “design follows function” collection of hats and accessories collection. They are just amazing and all Canadian, I can not wait to wear mine this winter.

Mattel Inc  Has the new Angry Birds- Knock on Wood  board game version of the smart phone phenomenon. Also Uno Roboto is a new version of the old favorite Uno. Try to guess what’s on your friend’s minds with Imaginiff and Bezzerwizzer is a game of Trivia. I got Bezzerwizzer home anyone want to play?

I got the pleasure to help and sit in the interview in the Tastemakers Lounge with Clive Owen and David Schwimmer during TIFF. The  Movie TRUST by David starring Clive Owen and Catherine Keener was a very dark movie about a 14 year old girl destroyed when she is fooled by a preying pedophile on-line. I won’t say anymore just in case you have not seen it but make sure you check it out. It was very great to to meet the cast and sit in on the interview. After the interview someone left their glasses in the suite so I put them in my bag so they would not walk away. I got a call from Leesa Butler saying Clive Owen was back looking for his glasses which was to funny. Both David and Clive where both amazing and down to earth guys and such a pleasure chatting with them.
