CONSONANT SKINCARE
When I arrived to the Rock-it Promotions Holiday Preview the main thing that caught my eye was Consonant skin care. This Organic skin care line I have been starting to hear a lot about made me interested so I wanted to try it. The lovely ladies at Rock-it Promotions were ever so gracious to send me the ultra-moisturizing organic face cream for dry skin and the organic foaming face wash. I am usually a skeptical when a skin care product says organic because I have really sensitive skin that gets really irritated from perfumes and products that can get overly abrasive to my skin. I have been using both products for over a week now and they have been working great. They have not made my face red or irritated and kept my skin clear. The lotion can make your face a little oily but all in all they are great products. I will keep using them and can’t wait to try more consonant products.
Persistent hydration for 24 hours.
This non-greasy formula absorbs quickly while elevated levels of Cassia Angustifolia Seed Extract ensure long lasting hydration. Grape Seed Oil is a great antioxidant that helps protect skin from future damage. The result is smoother, more radiant and hydrated skin from the very first use.
Face Wash is a gentle yet effective cleanser, packed with nourishing botanicals like teatree oil and grapeseed oil to help hydrate skin, eliminate uneven skin tones and fight blemishes. pH balanced, you don’t need a toner.

IMG buys Toronto Fashion week
It was official announced today that Robin Kay, President of Fashion Design Council of Canada (FDCC) also creator and Executive Director of World MasterCard Fashion Week has sold Toronto Fashion week to IMG Canada. IMG Canada will be operating with IMG Fashion to make Fashion week better than it ever was. With their international success it will be nice to see how they will elevate this event. Robin Kay will remain president of the FDCC and continue to support Canadian designers and consultant with the event.
“Creating Fashion Week in Toronto was a career dream for me as I was able to translate my skills as a designer and retailer into a celebration of Canadian fashion that has supported so many talented people to find an audience and a global runway. In business, timing is everything, and I am confident that the time is right for IMG to take World MasterCard Fashion Week to the next level,” said Robin Kay. “I have no plans to disappear and I will remain committed to helping and nurturing Canadian designers shine on the catwalk.”
“I’ve worked with Robin for eight years on Fashion Week and it truly couldn’t have been done without her energy, vision and support,” said Joe Mimran, founder and creative director of Joe Fresh Style and chairman of the Fashion Design Council of Canada Board of Directors. “I look forward to seeing Fashion Week evolve and grow as it leverages IMG’s global infrastructure and expertise.”
I think this is just the change that World MasterCard Fashion Week needed to bump up this event more internationally since it is the second largest fashion week in North America.

LG Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2011 Wrap up
My favourite part of fashion week is wrap-up time!! Spring/Summer 2012 is going to be impressive with what we have seen on the runway. This season it was so great to be back in the tents, it makes it really feel like fashion week and the downtown location made everyone’s life easier I bet! Although there were some problems with less seating this season, all in all it was a great set-up and location.
Bustle and David Dixon went a lot softer with their collections still having their staple designs but more of a hint of bold colours. Lots of adventurous colours are going too been seen this coming spring and summer 2012 as we have seen on the runway. Another thing we have been seeing is a lot of on the go pieces for women in charge like the Attitude Collection by Jay Manuel. This collection has something for every woman on the go or just ready to get on that plane and hit the beach. By having Arthur Mendonca hitting the runway opening night his collection blew the week wide open. His pieces were a mix of vibrant strong colours and straight edge designs but we have to give him credit for knowing what women really want and will look amazing in, it’s something he really has an eye for.
Denis Gagnon wowed the crowds with his very artsy short film which went right into his collection. His pieces were immaculate and include some crazy floral designs with some simple but very sleek pieces. We also cannot forget Micalla Jewelry ; I had seen her stuff hit the runway at Ottawa Fashion Week but at LGFW she really got my attention. Her collection is very different than most, all her pieces are very wearable and there is something for everyone to wear and enjoy. Will we see a collaboration with Swarovski? We hope so as these pieces are a work of art. The spring/summer 2012 runway was filled with an oasis of bold colours, floral and wild prints, cocktail and long flowing dresses which were very colourful and delightful to see. The men on the runway dressed in dapper and casual short suits with lots of cotton and linen.
Thank you to the FDCC, LGFW employees and volunteers and mostly Rock-it-Promotions for making this season amazing.

LOVE LIES BLEEDING Nov 8-12
I will be attending opening night and I am so excited. I have been working with Rock-it-Promotions for a great line up of Drag Queens attending. So if you love Elton John, Drag Queens and Ballet you really need to get tickets quick.
” The screams of appreciation started early and came often during the debut performance of Alberta Ballet’s Love Lies Bleeding. The production is clearly going to make buckets of money for the company, and frankly what’s not to like? First, there’s the music of glam-rock superstar Sir Elton John and his lyricist Bernie Taupin. The non-stop parade of razzle-dazzle costumes by Martine Bertrand rivals Las Vegas for sheer spectacle. Adam Larsen’s eye-popping projections provide the showy backdrop for the dancing (which is heavily into T and A). Beefcake abounds with an overload of men in sequined jockstraps” (Globeandmail.com)

TIFF 2011 CONTEST
With TIFF coming to a close it is time for a contest. I have been so busy this year attending events, checking out gifting lounges and working at the Tastemakers lounge. It has been such a great experience and I have connected with some great people. But now it is your time to be swaged like the stars you see in the pictures. I will be giving a swag bag away that is well worth over $500 of great stuff, Thanks to Rock-it-Promtions, Tastemakers and The F-list. All you have to do is follow me on twitter, Re-tweet this post or email your info to info@allaccesswithkevin.com. If you do all 3 things you will get more than one entry to the contest. I will be picking the winner next Tuesday, Sept 28th. Good luck to everyone

Amazing Interview! (TIFF 2010)
I got the pleasure to help and sit in the interview in the Tastemakers Lounge with Clive Owen and David Schwimmer during TIFF. The Movie TRUST by David starring Clive Owen and Catherine Keener was a very dark movie about a 14 year old girl destroyed when she is fooled by a preying pedophile on-line. I won’t say anymore just in case you have not seen it but make sure you check it out. It was very great to to meet the cast and sit in on the interview. After the interview someone left their glasses in the suite so I put them in my bag so they would not walk away. I got a call from Leesa Butler saying Clive Owen was back looking for his glasses which was to funny. Both David and Clive where both amazing and down to earth guys and such a pleasure chatting with them.
