Heart Disease and Stroke are the leading cause of death in Canadian women! The scary thing is most women don’t know until it is to late. Get checked, eat healthy, and try to live a healthy life style.
The Heart and Stroke Foundation started an event called The Heart Truth, which is a fashion show put on every year with Celebrities. The Red Dress is the main symbol of the Heart Truth campaign and as the foundation say “The Red Dress represents women’s courage, passion and their power for change as they “Share the Truth” with others and raise awareness of the the importance of heart health”, I every much agree. The event brings Canadian Designers and Celebrities together for this great cause. The Designers make these amazing dresses and the stars work them down the runway for awareness. This is an amazing event where the Fashion Industry comes together to make awareness for this important cause.
